What KCI registration proves, and what it does not
Almost every Toy Poodle listing in NCR mentions KCI. Very few explain it, and the gap between what buyers assume and what is true is where money gets wasted.
It proves that the puppy’s parents were registered with the Kennel Club of India and the litter was recorded. It is a pedigree record — a statement of ancestry.
It does not prove that the puppy is healthy, that the parents were health tested, or that the dog was raised well. Any seller implying otherwise is stretching it. Treat registration as one signal among several. The mother you meet and the records you read tell you more.
Why Greater Noida suits a small dog
Greater Noida is a planned city and the housing stock genuinely helps, in a way that is worth saying plainly:
- More independent houses and low-rise floors. A dog that can get outside without waiting for a lift is easier to toilet-train and easier to live with than one twenty floors up.
- Wide sector roads and green belts make the 30 to 40 minutes of daily exercise a Toy Poodle needs entirely realistic before work.
- More indoor space per rupee than central Delhi, which matters less for a 4 kg dog than people think — but it does mean room for a crate and a proper routine.
- Close to us. 45 to 60 minutes along the expressway. You can visit, meet the mother, and come back later if you need help.
The trade-offs are the same as the rest of NCR: brutal May and June heat, poor air quality from October to January, and ticks all year because it never gets cold enough for a die-off.
Keeping a Toy Poodle here through the year
| When | What to change |
|---|---|
| March–April | Short even clip before the heat arrives, not during it |
| May–June | Walks before 7am and after 8pm only. Never shave to the skin — exposed skin burns |
| July–September | Monsoon. Dry the coat fully after wet walks, ears and paws especially |
| October–January | Air quality. Shorten walks on severe AQI days and train indoors instead |
| December–January | Genuinely cold for a 4 kg clipped dog — let the coat grow longer |
| All year | Ticks. Check between toes and inside ears after every walk on grass |
What a Toy Poodle costs to keep, per month
| What | Monthly |
|---|---|
| Food | ₹1,200–₹2,500 |
| Grooming (averaged) | ₹1,000–₹1,800 |
| Tick, flea, deworming | ₹300–₹600 |
| Routine vet | ₹500–₹1,200 |
| Everything else | ₹500–₹1,200 |
| Total | ₹3,500–₹7,300 |
Grooming every six to eight weeks for life, at roughly ₹1,200–₹2,500 a session in NCR. This is not optional with a Poodle coat.
Why we will not sell you a “teacup”
Teacup is not a size. It is a marketing word for a dog bred deliberately below Toy standard, usually by breeding the smallest animals in a line to each other or selling a runt at a premium. Dogs produced that way commonly have bones that break in ordinary falls, blood-sugar crashes needing emergency treatment, and shorter lives.
A healthy adult Toy Poodle at 3–5 kg is already a small dog. Smaller than that is not a feature, and we would rather lose the sale than sell you one.

Questions from Greater Noida buyers
How much is a KCI-registered Toy Poodle puppy in Greater Noida?
Our Toy Poodles are 45,000 to 70,000 rupees depending on lineage and KCI registration. The price is the same nationwide — Greater Noida buyers pay what Delhi buyers pay.
What does KCI registration actually prove?
It proves the puppy’s parents were registered with the Kennel Club of India and the litter was recorded. It is a pedigree record, not a health certificate. It does not prove health testing or how the puppy was raised, so ask about those separately.
How far is Puppy Hub from Greater Noida?
We are in I.P. Extension, East Delhi — typically 45 to 60 minutes from Greater Noida along the expressway. Most buyers from here visit us in person to meet the mother.
Is a Toy Poodle a good fit for a Greater Noida home?
Yes, and unusually so. Greater Noida has a high share of independent houses and low-rise builder floors with more indoor space than a Delhi flat, which suits a small dog well without needing long daily walks.
Do you deliver Toy Poodle puppies in Greater Noida?
Yes, we hand over in person across Greater Noida, Noida Extension and the wider NCR. We never send a puppy with a courier.
Do you sell teacup Toy Poodles?
No. Teacup is not a recognised size — it describes dogs bred deliberately below Toy standard, which commonly have fragile bones, blood sugar problems and shorter lives. A healthy Toy Poodle at 3 to 5 kg already suits any home here.
