A Toy Poodle puppy in India costs ₹45,000 to ₹70,000, depending on KCI registration and lineage. A Toy Poodle stands under 28 cm and weighs 3 to 4 kg fully grown, sheds very little and commonly lives 14 to 15 years. “Teacup” is not a real Poodle size.

Toy Poodle puppies in India — the small dog with a big brain. Ours are ₹45,000 to ₹70,000 depending on KCI registration and lineage, raised at home in Delhi NCR and delivered anywhere in the country.

Toy Poodle price in India
₹45,000 to ₹70,000. The difference is KCI registration and the bloodline behind the puppy — a registered puppy from a documented line sits at the top of that range, and we will tell you plainly which you are looking at.
You will see Toy Poodles advertised far cheaper. Some of those puppies are undersized dogs sold as “teacup”, some are crosses sold as Poodles, and many leave their mothers at five or six weeks. Any of the three costs you more later than the money you saved.
What a Toy Poodle actually is
One of the three official Poodle sizes, alongside Miniature and Standard. A Toy Poodle stands under 28 cm at the shoulder and weighs roughly 3 to 4 kg full grown — small enough for any Indian flat, and long-lived, often reaching fourteen or fifteen.
Underneath the size it is a proper Poodle: quick to learn, closely bonded to its people, and low shedding. Small does not mean fragile or stupid, and a Toy Poodle that is treated like a toy becomes a nervous, noisy dog.
Teacup Poodles do not exist
There is no teacup size in the breed. The word is marketing for undersized dogs, often bred deliberately small at the cost of their health — fragile bones, dental problems, low blood sugar. We do not breed them and we would encourage you not to buy one from anybody.
Toy Poodle colours
Colour is the second thing everyone asks about. Ours are usually red and apricot. The breed also comes in white, black, brown, cream, silver and parti. A “teddy bear” Toy Poodle is not a colour or a type at all — it is a haircut, and any Poodle can have it.
Colour has no effect on temperament or health. Choose the puppy, not the shade.
Living with a Toy Poodle in India
- Flats. This is the Poodle for apartment living. Short daily walks plus indoor play are enough, though the walks still matter for the dog’s head as much as its legs.
- Children. Better with older children who understand that a 3 kg dog can be hurt by rough handling.
- Grooming. Brushing several times a week and a clip every six to eight weeks, lifelong. Small dog, same coat.
- Teeth. The one health point people miss in small breeds. Brush them, and expect dental cleaning to be part of the dog’s life.
- Heat and monsoon. Avoid the middle of the day in summer; dry ears carefully in the rains.
- Alone time. Toy Poodles attach hard. Practise short separations from the beginning or you will have a dog that cannot cope with an empty house.
KCI registration
Our Toy Poodle litters can be registered with the Kennel Club of India, and registration is one of the things that moves the price within the range above. You get the health record and vaccination dates either way, and you are welcome to meet the mother.
