Where we are, and how collection works in Delhi NCR

We are at 246/68 Mater Complex, East School Block, I.P. Extension, New Delhi 110092. NCR buyers are welcome to come and meet the litter with the mother before deciding anything — that visit tells you more about a breeder than any website can, and we would encourage you to insist on it wherever you buy.

We place puppies across Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Greater Noida. Collection in person is best for an eight-week-old puppy; if you cannot travel, we arrange delivery within NCR at a time of day that suits the weather rather than the calendar.

What NCR weather means for this dog

Delhi runs from 45°C in June to single digits in January, and both ends matter. Through summer, walk before 7am and after sunset, and test the pavement with your palm — if it is too hot for your hand, it burns paw pads. Ask your groomer for a shorter summer clip, never a shave. Through the monsoon, dry ears and paws after every walk; ear infections are the most common vet visit for curly-coated dogs in Delhi humidity. Winter is the easy season for these breeds.

Flat living in NCR

Most NCR buyers live in flats. Before you choose a size, check three things: whether your society allows dogs (many RWAs have rules), whether there is a lift, and whether there is a park within walking distance. A Standard Poodle or Goldendoodle in a fourth-floor flat with no lift and no park is a hard life for both of you.

F1 or F1B for a Delhi home?

F1 is one Golden Retriever parent and one Poodle parent. F1B is an F1 bred back to a Poodle, giving a curlier coat that sheds less. In a Delhi flat where hair on the floor matters, F1B is usually the better choice. No dog is fully hypoallergenic, whatever a seller tells you.

What comes with your puppy

Finding a Goldendoodle breeder in Delhi

Ask any breeder in NCR the same five questions: can I see the mother where they live, how old are the puppies, what vaccinations have been given and when, why was this pairing made, and what happens if something goes wrong in the first fortnight. A good breeder enjoys those questions. A reseller changes the subject or drops the price.

Four things about Delhi that change how you keep this dog

Most Goldendoodle advice online is written for homes in England or America. Delhi NCR is a different environment, and four things here genuinely change the job of owning one.

1. May and June are the real test. Six weeks of 42–46°C is harder on a coated dog than anything a European winter throws at it. Walks move to before 7am and after 8pm. Pavements that are comfortable for your hand for five seconds are safe for paws; anything hotter is not. Indoors, a fan is not enough for this breed in peak summer — a cooler or AC for the hottest hours is realistic planning, not indulgence.

2. Air quality between October and January. Nobody selling puppies in Delhi mentions this, and they should. Dogs breathe the same air you do, and on severe AQI days a large active dog pulls a great deal of it through its lungs. On those days, shorten the walks, move them to early morning when levels are usually lower, and do indoor training instead of a long outing. A dog with a persistent dry cough through November is worth a vet visit.

3. Ticks, all year. NCR does not get cold enough for a proper tick die-off. Preventatives run twelve months, not seasonally, and after any walk in a park or on grass, check between the toes, inside the ears and under the collar. Tick fever is common here and it is genuinely dangerous.

4. Society and RWA rules. If you are in a Gurgaon or Noida high-rise, check the pet rules before you commit, not after. Lift usage, timing restrictions and registration requirements vary by society, and a large dog draws more attention than a small one. The Animal Welfare Board’s position is that societies cannot ban pets outright, but arguing that after you have brought the puppy home is a bad position to be in.

Delhi NCR grooming: what it costs and where

A Goldendoodle needs professional grooming every six to eight weeks for its whole life. In NCR that means roughly ₹1,500–₹3,000 per session depending on coat length, size and how matted the dog has become.

Practical advice for NCR specifically:

• Find your groomer before the puppy arrives. The first appointment should be a short, positive introduction at around four months, not a crisis at eight months when the coat has matted.
• Ask for a short even clip in summer, never a shave. Many NCR groomers will shave to the skin if you do not specify, because it is faster. Shaved skin burns in a Delhi May.
• Mobile groomers are increasingly common in Gurgaon and Noida and work well for dogs that find salons stressful.
• Budget ₹12,000–₹25,000 a year. If that is not comfortable, tell us now and we will point you to a breed that suits you better.

Which NCR homes this breed suits, and which it does not

We say no to enquiries fairly often, and in NCR it is usually one of these:

• Works for you: a floor or house in South Delhi, Noida or Gurgaon with someone home for most of the day; a family with children over five; a household that already walks daily; anyone with a terrace or nearby park.
• Does not work: two working adults out nine hours with no help at home; a household wanting a guard dog; anyone who has not budgeted grooming; a home where nobody has agreed to do the daily walk in July.

A Goldendoodle left alone all day in a Gurgaon high-rise becomes anxious and vocal, and that becomes a problem with your neighbours before it becomes a problem with the dog. We would rather have that conversation before you buy.

Delivery and handover across NCR

We are in I.P. Extension, East Delhi. How it works:

1. Visit us and meet the litter with the mother. This is the part we most want you to do, and it takes under an hour from most of NCR.
2. If you cannot travel, we will do a live video call with the puppies and the mother — not recorded clips.
3. Handover at eight weeks with vaccination card, deworming record, vet health-check note and a diet sheet.
4. Delivery within NCR — Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad — is arranged in person by us, not handed to a courier.

Buying a Goldendoodle in Delhi: what to check

NCR has more people selling doodles than breeding them. Whoever you buy from, including us, insist on these:

• Meet the mother in person. Photographs are not evidence. A seller who cannot produce the dam is reselling, not breeding.
• See where the puppies are kept. If you are shown the puppy in a car park or a shop rather than where it lives, that is the answer.
• Ask what generation it is and what the grandparents were.
• Get the records before paying, not after.
• Never accept a puppy under eight weeks, however convenient it sounds.
