A Standard Poodle carries a lot of coat. In Delhi that coat has to survive six weeks above 42°C; in Chennai it has to cope with heat plus humidity. Bangalore’s temperature stays mild nearly all year, which means:

Bloat: the thing every large-breed owner must know
Gastric dilatation-volvulus kills deep-chested dogs, and the Standard Poodle is deep-chested. It goes from healthy to fatal in a couple of hours.
