Puppy Hub — Goldendoodle & Poodle Puppies in Delhi NCR

Goldendoodle puppies in India, raised in our home

A Goldendoodle puppy in India costs ₹75,000 to ₹1,20,000, depending on generation and quality. Goldendoodles are a Golden Retriever and Poodle cross, shed very little, and cannot be KCI registered because they are not a pure breed. F1B generations have curlier, lower shedding coats than F1.

Written by the Puppy Hub team — breeders of Standard Poodles, Parti Poodles, Toy Poodles and Goldendoodles in Delhi NCR for close to a decade, placing puppies with families across India. The prices on this page are our own and are kept current.

Goldendoodle price in India

We publish our numbers because most sellers will not. A Goldendoodle from us costs ₹75,000 to ₹1,20,000. Where a puppy sits in that range depends on generation, coat and the bloodline behind it — never on how keen you sound on the phone. The price is the same whether you are in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru or Kochi.

You will see Goldendoodles advertised in India for ₹25,000 or ₹30,000. Ask what you are actually buying. At that price the puppy has almost always left its mother far too early, from parents nobody will let you meet, and the saving disappears with the first serious vet bill.

What a Goldendoodle actually is

A Golden Retriever crossed with a Poodle. From the Retriever you get the patient, family-friendly temperament that makes this the easiest big dog to live with. From the Poodle you get a coat that sheds very little and a mind that learns fast.

F1 and F1B — what the letters mean

F1 is one Golden Retriever parent and one Poodle parent, the first generation. F1B is an F1 Goldendoodle bred back to a Poodle, so there is more Poodle in the mix and the coat is usually curlier and sheds less. If low shedding matters in your home, F1B is the safer bet.

No dog is truly hypoallergenic, and anyone who promises you one is overselling. Goldendoodles are simply far easier to live with than a Retriever.

Goldendoodle colours

Colour is the thing people search for most after price. Ours are typically red, apricot and cream; you will also see black, chocolate and parti (two clear colours) in the breed. Red and apricot are the most requested in India and the ones we most often have.

Coat colour has nothing to do with health or temperament. It is worth choosing on the dog in front of you rather than on a shade in a photograph.

Sizes, and the ones we do not breed

Searches for mini Goldendoodle and miniature Goldendoodle price in India are common, so let us be straight: we do not breed mini or toy Goldendoodles. Ours are standard size, roughly 20 to 28 kg full grown. If you want a small low-shedding dog for a flat, a Toy Poodle is the honest answer rather than a miniaturised Doodle.

Is a Goldendoodle right for your home in India?

  • Space and time. This is an active dog that wants a proper walk twice a day and company for much of it. A Goldendoodle left alone from 9 to 7 becomes a destructive Goldendoodle.
  • Heat. Walk early and after sunset through summer. Test the pavement with your palm — if it is too hot for your hand it will burn a puppy’s pads.
  • Grooming is not optional. That lovely coat needs brushing several times a week and a professional clip every six to eight weeks. Budget for it before you buy, not after. Do not shave to the skin in summer; the coat protects against heat and sunburn.
  • Children. Excellent with them, provided the children are taught to leave a sleeping dog alone.

Papers, and an honest word about KCI

Our Poodle litters are registered with the Kennel Club of India. Goldendoodles cannot be KCI registered — the KCI registers recognised pure breeds and a Goldendoodle is a cross. If a seller offers you a KCI-registered Goldendoodle, they are either confused or lying, and you should walk away. What you get from us instead is the health record, the vaccination and deworming dates, and the chance to meet the parents.

What comes with your puppy

  • Age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming completed, with dates written down for your vet
  • A health check by a vet before the puppy leaves
  • Eight weeks old at the earliest — never younger
  • Safe delivery anywhere in India, or collection in person in Delhi NCR
  • Us on the phone afterwards, for as long as you need

NCR families usually visit and meet the litter with the mother. Everyone else sees the puppy on a live video call first, and travel is arranged for the coolest hours of the day.

Grooming a Goldendoodle in India: the cost nobody mentions

This is the part most sellers leave out, and it is the single biggest reason Goldendoodles get rehomed in India. A Goldendoodle coat does not shed out on its own. It keeps growing, and whatever the dog walks through stays in it.

Left alone for two months, that coat mats down to the skin. A matted coat cannot be brushed out — it has to be shaved off, and the dog often has to be sedated for it. It is completely preventable, and it happens constantly to dogs bought from people who never explained this.

What the coat actually needs:

  • Brushing at home — ten minutes, three times a week, with a slicker brush and a metal comb. The comb is the one that matters. A slicker glides over a forming mat without ever finding it; the comb catches it while it is still fixable.
  • Professional grooming — every six to eight weeks, without exception. In Delhi NCR expect roughly ₹1,500–₹3,000 a session, more if the coat has been let go.
  • Between-groom attention — the face, paws and sanitary area need trimming more often than the body. Hair over the eyes causes more vet visits than anything else in this breed.

Budget ₹12,000–₹25,000 a year for grooming alone. If that figure is a problem, this is not your breed, and we would rather say so now than sell you a dog you will end up struggling with.

What a Goldendoodle costs to keep, per month

Realistic figures for a medium Goldendoodle in an Indian metro. Yours will vary with the food you choose and the vet you use, but nothing here is padded.

What Monthly Notes
Food ₹3,000–₹6,000 Good-quality dry food; more if you feed fresh or raw
Grooming ₹1,000–₹2,000 Averaged — one salon visit every 6–8 weeks
Preventatives ₹500–₹900 Tick, flea and deworming — non-negotiable in Indian cities
Vet ₹500–₹1,500 Averaged across the year, excluding emergencies
Everything else ₹500–₹1,500 Toys, bedding, shampoo, treats, replacements
Total ₹5,500–₹12,000 Before boarding, training or an emergency

Set aside an emergency fund as well. A single serious illness in a large dog can run past ₹50,000, and that is the moment people discover whether they were ready.

Health: what happens before a puppy leaves us

Every puppy that leaves our home has been vet health-checked, vaccinated and dewormed, and we hand over the records with the dog. Nothing goes at under eight weeks.

More useful to you than our promises, though, is knowing what to ask anyone selling you a doodle. These are the questions a real breeder answers without hesitating:

  • Can I see the mother? Not a photo — the actual dog, in person or on a live video call. A seller who cannot produce the dam is not a breeder.
  • What health testing has been done on the parents? For Goldendoodles the relevant ones are hips, elbows and eyes. If the answer is vague, treat it as a no.
  • What generation is this puppy, and what were the grandparents? Anyone breeding deliberately knows this.
  • What happens if the puppy is found ill in the first week? Get the answer before you pay, not after.
  • How many litters does the mother have? Repeated back-to-back litters is the clearest sign of a commercial operation.

If a seller gets irritated by these questions, that is your answer. We would rather you asked us all five.

Feeding a Goldendoodle puppy in India

Two things go wrong most often here, and both are avoidable.

Cow’s milk. It is the first thing many Indian households offer a puppy and it causes diarrhoea in most of them. Puppies cannot digest lactose after weaning. Water is what they need.

Roti and sabzi. A growing large-breed puppy needs protein, calcium and fat in a specific balance. Home food built around wheat and vegetables does not provide it, and the damage — poor bone development in the first six months — is not reversible later.

Feeding frequency by age:

Age Meals a day
8–12 weeks 4
3–6 months 3
6–12 months 2–3
Over 12 months 2

Keep the puppy lean. An overweight Goldendoodle puppy carries that weight on joints that are still forming, and you pay for it when the dog is seven.

The first thirty days at home

Week one is the hardest, and knowing that in advance makes it easier.

  • Nights one to three — expect crying. The puppy has just left its litter. Keep the crate or bed beside you rather than in another room; it settles far faster.
  • Toilet training — out first thing, after every meal, after every nap, and last thing at night. Accidents are your timing, not the puppy’s failure.
  • Do not rush vaccinations — keep the puppy off public ground until the course is complete. Parvo is common in Indian cities and it kills unvaccinated puppies.
  • Start the brush early — a two-minute brush every day from week one, purely so the dog learns to stand for it. Doing this now is the difference between easy grooming for a decade and a fight every six weeks.
  • Socialisation window — between eight and sixteen weeks the puppy decides what is normal. Carry it to see traffic, lifts, doorbells and different people, safely, before that window closes.

Who should not buy a Goldendoodle

We turn down more enquiries than we accept, and it is nearly always for one of these reasons.

  • Nobody home all day, every day. This breed was made to be with people. Left alone nine hours daily it becomes anxious and destructive, and no amount of training fixes the underlying problem.
  • You want a dog that does not need grooming. Read the grooming section again. This is the wrong breed.
  • You want a guard dog. A Goldendoodle will greet an intruder warmly and show him where things are kept.
  • You are buying on price. If the grooming and food figures above are a stretch, the purchase price is the smallest part of what is coming.

If none of those apply, this is one of the best family dogs available in India. See our own-bred lines, our Goldendoodle puppies in Delhi NCR, or read the Puppy Guide before you decide.

Questions people ask us

How much is a Goldendoodle in India?

₹75,000 to ₹1,20,000 from us, depending on quality and generation.

Do Goldendoodles shed?

Very little, especially F1B. Less shedding does not mean less grooming — the coat still needs regular brushing and clipping.

Are Goldendoodles good for Indian weather?

Yes, with sensible management: walks early and late in summer, a proper summer clip rather than a shave, and ears and paws dried after monsoon walks.

Can I meet the puppy before buying?

Yes. Come and see the litter with the mother, or ask for a live video call if you are in another city.

What age do your puppies leave?

Eight weeks at the earliest, with first vaccinations and deworming done.

How often does a Goldendoodle need grooming in India?

Professionally every six to eight weeks, plus brushing at home three times a week with a slicker brush and a metal comb. Skipping it leads to matting that has to be shaved off.

What is the difference between an F1 and an F1B Goldendoodle?

An F1 is a first cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. An F1B is an F1 crossed back to a Poodle, which gives a curlier coat that sheds less but needs more grooming.

How big will my Goldendoodle get?

It depends on the Poodle parent. Our lines typically mature between 20 and 30 kg. We do not breed mini or toy Goldendoodles.

Are Goldendoodles hypoallergenic?

No dog is truly hypoallergenic. Goldendoodles shed far less than a Golden Retriever, which many allergy sufferers tolerate well, but reactions vary from person to person. Spend time with an adult before you commit.

Is a Goldendoodle good with children?

Yes, and it is one of the breed’s strongest traits. They are patient and people-focused. As with any dog, young children should be taught how to handle a puppy.

What does a Goldendoodle cost to keep each month in India?

Roughly ₹5,500 to ₹12,000 a month covering food, grooming, preventatives and routine vet care, before boarding, training or emergencies.

Do you deliver Goldendoodle puppies outside Delhi NCR?

Yes, we deliver across India. We arrange safe transport and hand the puppy over in person, with all records.
